Luciano Spalletti could step down as Napoli manager shortly after leading the club to its first Scudetto in 33 years. His relationship with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis soured, Spalletti turned down an offer for a new contract.
To replace Spalletti, Napoli are considering 5 candidates. One of them is Rafael Benitez, who already worked with the team in 2013-2015. The first contacts with the Spaniard have already taken place.
PSG’s Christophe Galtier, Atalanta’s Gian Piero Gasperini, Fiorentina’s Vincenzo Italiano and Antonio Conte are also being considered.
