Brazilian Atlético Mineiro continues negotiations with Shakhtar regarding the extension of the lease of midfielder Pedrinho.
The current agreement expires on June 30, and through the player’s agent Will Dantas, the Bettas have submitted a new offer to the Pitmen. Atlético Mineiro would like to extend Pedrinho’s loan until June 30, 2024.
Earlier it was reported that Pedrinho’s lease could be extended until the end of the current calendar year.
The midfielder himself made it clear to the Shakhtar bosses that he would like to stay in Brazil and is not ready to return not only to Ukraine, but also to Europe, which will make it difficult to sell Pedrinho to the Pitmen in the summer.
Recently, Pedrinho was injured, from which he should recover towards the end of June.
