Azerbaijani head coach “Sabah” Murad Masaev said that the club did not agree with Shakhtar Donetsk on Alexey Kashchuk.
The 22-year-old Ukrainian winger of the Pitmen plays for Sabah on loan. The agreement is valid until the end of the current season. Kashchuk’s contract with Shakhtar runs until the summer of 2024.
Sabah wants to keep the Ukrainian in their team. The Donetsk club asks for at least 1.5 million euros for Alexey, while Baku residents are ready to pay no more than a million.
This season, Kashchuk has 16 goals and 9 assists in 29 matches of the Azerbaijani championship.
