Chornomorets’ coach Roman Grigorchuk commented on the 0-1 defeat in the Ukrainian Championship match against Minai. The Odessa team did not use their advantage and missed the counterattack.
“I always discard the emotional part. Now is not up to it. You need to do the right analysis. We played against a team that defends with large forces and we are not as strong in this component as we would like. You have to be able to act. Personal excellence comes first. It hurts to lose.”
“It seems to me that the judges get to Odessa to make mistakes here. We are not strong enough to miss such moments and move on,” Grigorchuk said.
Both teams have 29 points and share 9-10 positions.
