27 year old midfielder Marco Asensio will leave Real Madrid after the end of the current season, informs Relevo.
The Spaniard has decided to reject an offer to extend his contract with the Madrid club.
Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent, and José Angel Sanchez, the club’s general manager, had been in talks since December to extend the agreement, but in the end, the player decided to look for a new club.
Marco has several offers, but he still hasn’t decided his fate. Several major clubs in Italy and England have expressed their interest in the player’s services in recent months. Also French side PSG, who wanted to sign Marco in January, still expects to make a transfer.
This season, Asensio has made 30 appearances and scored 9 goals in La Liga, as well as 7 matches in cups and 12 meetings (3 goals) in the Champions League.
