Getafe have officially announced the appointment of Jose Bordalas as head coach. Terms of the contract are not called.
As head coach of Getafe, Bordalas will replace Quique Sanchez Flores, who was sacked the day before yesterday. He left the team in 17th place in La Liga, just 1 point from the relegation zone.
Bordalas has previously worked with Getafe in 2016-2021. During that time, the 59-year-old Spaniard played 212 matches at the head of Getafe. Bordalas’ previous job was at Valencia.
