La Liga President Javier Tebas said the Spanish league could well compete with the Premier League in TV revenue:
“Our clubs on national television make the same amount as Premier League clubs. And Real Madrid is constantly crying, but his statements are not true: he also earns as much as the Premier League clubs.
That is why Real Madrid and Barcelona are the first in the list of clubs with the highest incomes in the world. I don’t know what else they want.”
