According to media reports, the UAF will officially announce the signing of a contract with coach Sergei Rebrov next week at the latest. The contract has already been signed.
The agreement will be designed for two cycles: Euro 2024 and World Cup 2026, and after that it can be extended by agreement of the parties. One of Rebrov’s main tasks will be to create a unified model and system for national teams of all age categories.
It is reported that the mentor has not yet decided on the goalkeeping coach. The main contender is Rustam Khudzhamov.
Rebrov’s first match in the Ukrainian national team will take place on June 12 in a sparring match against Germany.
