Before the game with Minay, Yuri Nikolayevich came up to me and asked me not to worry. The excitement was minimal when I entered the field. But when the match began, it became psychologically easier. I remember how I took the ball tightly after a shot by Dmitry Nemchaninov in the opening. After that, I gained more confidence in myself.
In the second match against Lvov it was already more difficult. I had to prove that I play at a consistently high level.
